A Glimpse into Our Family's Journey

Palakkil Mavilavalappil Kunhathi Amma's story is where our family's roots begin. Married to Mykeel Raman Nambiar, she settled near Marayangalam, Kalliasseri, around 1865-1870, bringing her legacy from Cherukunnu to our ancestral land. Our ancestors tell us that Kunhathi Amma I left her wealth and property behind, embracing a new life in Kalliasseri. Eight generations later, we're proud to see our family thrive, spread across cities in India and beyond. 

Life wasn't easy for our ancestors. They faced hardships under foreign rule, poverty, diseases, and natural challenges. Yet, they persevered, and their resilience paved the way for our brighter future. 

Today, we're a family that's made its mark, with the strength to adapt and grow. Let's cherish our heritage and the struggles that shaped us.

We have made an attempt to construct a P M Family Tree beginning with Palakkil Mavilavalappil Kunhathi Amma I who had come over to Kalliasseri from Cherukunnu after Mykeel Raman Nambiar married her. 4. P M Kunhiraman Nambiar   - Married  Andoor Veettil Kalyanikutty Amma (Chirakkal)

5. P M Krishnan Nambiar   - Married Koyyodan Padinhare Veettil Madhavi Amma [Interestingly Madhavi Amma's ancestral origin was at Pallur, Mahe. Madhavi Amma's mother could have moved over to Kanhirode after marriage. Thus Madhavi Amma was better known as Kanhirode Madhavi Amma after coming to Kalliasseri .]

Note: An attempt has been made to construct a Family Tree of P M Family Group. The first generation  begins with P M Kunhathi Amma who, after her marriage to Mykeel Raman Nambiar, migrated from Cherukunnu to Kalliasseri circa 1865. Now we have the 8th generation running as of the year 2022. The family tree construction has been made in excel format.

We have taken utmost care to enter the data as accurate as possible. We have missed out few entries for want of authentic details. I hope family members who read this will help in monitoring the entries and point out any mistakes observed. We hope to have a full fledged family tree shortly.
